My work navigates body politics, gendered perception, and the layered experience of inhabiting a body in South Asia. It reflects on discomfort and ambiguity, especially in a cultural context where expression is often met with silence or censorship. My practice works from a place of tension: between visibility and erasure, tradition and dissent, vulnerability and resistance.

It explores the complexities of selfhood and the invisible boundaries placed on expression. These visual dialogues speak to the unspoken: the feminine and masculine energies within us, and the ways we internalize and resist imposed norms.

Much of what my practice engages with is deemed transgressive or unacceptable in my context. Over the years, I’ve encountered censorship that attempts to silence these visual expressions. But my work resists that erasure. It doesn’t seek resolution or spectacle—it simply asks for space. To be felt. To be seen. To exist.
