Fatima Faisal Qureshi is an artist and curator based in Lahore, Pakistan. She received her BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2020. Her practice engages with questions of identity, body politics, and belonging, informed by experiences of silence and the struggle for visibility within restrictive social and cultural structures.
In 2021, she co-founded Lakir Gallery, an independent artist-run space dedicated to supporting emerging artists and interdisciplinary practices in Pakistan. She is also one half of Hum-sar, an artist duo that works through themes of grief, memory, and collective histories.
Faisal has undertaken residencies at Dogo Residenz für Neue Kunst, Switzerland (2023) with support from SüdKulturFonds, and at TasweerGhar, Lahore (2021). Her work and contributions to the arts have been recognised with the Prince Claus Seed Award (2025).
Alongside her studio practice, she is engaged in teaching and critical dialogue, having taught at the National College of Arts and Beaconhouse National University, Lahore. Through her artistic and curatorial work, she continues to build spaces for collaboration, pedagogy, and creative resistance.
